We can arrange for you to rent a classic long-tail boat and guide who will offer you an inspiring range of activities and stunning sights along the river. You will boat on the Pasak River through a pristine environment, slipping by gardens, fish farms, rural life, and forested limestone cliffs......
Mountain Trekking and Bird Watching - recommended!
Nearby Khao Phra Putthabat Noi is a limestone mountain worthy of a visit. If you are a casual visitor, eco-tourist, adventurer or serious bird watcher, you will find something to excite your senses on a guided trip to this mountain. We can arrange your guide for you - just let us know.
Highlights to this mountain trek: on top of the mountain you will find Cycas tansachana, a magnificent 500 year old tree, biggest specimen of its type in the world. The mountain itself is limestone, the symbol of Saraburi, and streams of pure mineral water seep from the porous mountain rock.
The mountain areas are inhabited by rare bird species like the Limestone Wren Babbler: Napothera Crispifrons Calcicola, a sub species of Napothera Crispifrons an ancient insectivorous bird which is unique to the virgin forests of South-East Asia.
Calciola is specific to the limestone environs of the mountains of Saraburi. It is a medium-sized brown-colored bird with stripes over its head and back with a white colored neck with black dashed line.
